When extensions don't match, people can tell
You can see where your hair ends and the extensions begin. The color is a little too ashy, or a little too warm. The ends look heavier than the rest of your hair. Or the hair looked beautiful in the package and tired after a few washes.
Usually the hair, the color and the cut were never planned together. At LAHH we plan all three before anything goes in.
Three things every LAHH install includes
Our hair. We install LAHH & Co. hair and only LAHH & Co. hair. We know its shades and how it wears, so we can plan how it will look on you.
A real color match. We match the extensions to your hair here in the salon. If the match needs color work, we tell you what it involves and what it costs at your consultation. See how the color match works.
A cut that blends. After the install we cut the extensions and your hair together, so the length and the layers move as one.
From consultation to install day
Your consultation and color match come first. The consultation has a nonrefundable fee, and it is applied to your install when you book it. Your install is booked once you say yes.
- Consultation. We look at your hair's density, length, color and condition, and we ask how you live: workouts, the beach and heat styling.
- Color match. We hold LAHH & Co. hair against yours and pick the shades that blend. If your color is dimensional, we match that dimension.
- Install. We place wefts, tape-ins or K-tips, whichever suits your hair and your plan.
- Cut and blend. We shape the ends so nothing looks stacked or blunt.
- Style and care. We style it, show you how to wash and brush it, and tell you when to come back for maintenance.
Wefts, tape-ins and K-tips
We offer three methods. The right one depends on your hair and how you wear it.
- Wefts are rows of hair attached along a section of your own hair. They add a lot of length and volume and sit flat when they are placed well.
- Tape-ins are thin panels that sandwich a small section of your hair. They are light, they lie flat, and they get moved up as your hair grows.
- K-tips are small strands of hair with a keratin tip, bonded to your hair one small section at a time. They move freely, which makes them a good fit if you wear your hair up a lot.

Who LAHH extensions are for
Our extensions are for you if you want hair that matches your own, you are happy to invest in it, and you will keep up with maintenance so it keeps looking right.
We are not the right salon if you want us to install hair you bought somewhere else, or if you need extensions today without a consultation. We would rather tell you that up front.

How much do hair extensions cost at LAHH Salon?
It depends on how much hair you need, which method fits your hair and how much color work the match takes. We give you the full price at your consultation. The consultation has a nonrefundable fee, and it is applied to your install when you book it.
Can I bring my own extension hair?
No. We only install LAHH & Co. hair, because it is the only hair we know well enough to match and predict. We can remove extensions you already have and plan a new install with our hair. Read why we only install our own hair.
Which extension method is best for me?
K-tips suit you if you wear your hair up a lot, tape-ins are light and lie flat, and wefts add a lot of length and volume. Your hair's density decides which of those it can carry, so we choose together at your consultation.
How long does an extension install take?
It depends on how much hair we are adding and the method. We will tell you how long to plan for at your consultation.
How often do extensions need maintenance?
Every method needs maintenance visits as your hair grows. You will know roughly how often at your consultation, and we give you your exact schedule at the install.
Will extensions damage my hair?
Extensions stress your hair when they are too heavy for it, put in too tight, left in too long or pulled out at home. We plan the weight, the tension and your maintenance schedule around your own hair, and we ask you to leave removal to us.
