Hand-tied hair extensions in Bal Harbour, FL installed for clients who want length, density, and an undetectable finish.
Bal Harbour is the smallest village in Miami-Dade County and one of the most demanding for beauty services. Our clients here travel often. They are photographed often. They cannot walk into a wedding or a board meeting with extensions that look glued on. Hand-tied is the method that disappears into your real hair, and we have been installing it for years.
LAHH Salon sits 3 minutes north over the 96th Street causeway from the Bal Harbour Shops valet on Collins Avenue. Free parking. Most Bal Harbour clients are in our chair in under ten minutes.
Hand-tied wefts are panels of premium Remy human hair sewn onto a row of small beads in your natural hair. There is no glue, no heat-bonding, and no tape. The wefts lay flat. They move. They feel like your hair. They survive humidity better than tape-ins and they do not damage the strand the way fusion bonds do.
Despina Triantafilidis runs our extensions program. She has installed thousands of hand-tied rows and trains other stylists in the technique. Her install is the difference between extensions that read as natural and extensions that scream "extensions" the moment you put your hair in a ponytail.
Consultation first. We assess density, scalp condition, lifestyle, and travel calendar. We choose the right hair length, color match, and weight. The install runs two to four hours depending on the rows.
We blend with a precision dry cut and a custom gloss to lock the color match. You leave with a styling lesson and a printed routine.
Brush twice a day from ends to roots. Tie hair up before any pool. Rinse with fresh water immediately after. Sleep on silk. Sulfate-free shampoo, no heavy oils on the wefts. We hand you the routine in writing on installation day.
Related services: our existing Bal Harbour page, balayage in Bal Harbour, color correction.
How long do hand-tied extensions last?
The wefts last six to nine months with proper care. The install needs a move-up appointment every six to eight weeks because your real hair is growing out, not because the wefts are failing.
Will they damage my hair?
Not when installed correctly. The beads are placed close to the scalp but with enough tension distribution that there is no traction alopecia. We monitor scalp health at every move-up and adjust if anything is off.
Can I work out with them in?
Yes. Tie hair up before any high-sweat activity. Brush thoroughly afterward. Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo on heavy sweat days.
Can I swim with them in?
Yes, with care. Tie hair up before getting in the pool or ocean, rinse with fresh water immediately after, and brush thoroughly once dry.
