Hair color correction in Aventura, FL for hair that came out wrong and needs a real plan to fix it.
Aventura is full of busy clients. School, work, the gym, dinner at the mall, weekends with family. A color disaster does not fit anywhere on that calendar. We give you a written, structured plan with appointment times before you walk out of the consultation.
LAHH Salon is 15 minutes north via Biscayne Boulevard or the William Lehman Causeway. Free parking. Most Aventura clients drive about 20 to 30 minutes door to door including the bridge.
Bond builder. Color remover when the case calls for it. Custom toner. Careful timing. A strand test before any chemical work. Davines and Olaplex inside every step. The work is methodical because the strand cannot recover from rushed chemistry.
Box dye buildup. Stripe lines from at-home root touch-ups. Brass from the boat or pool. Banding from one too many gloss-on-gloss services. Green from heavy chlorine exposure. Hot roots from a rushed service. Each fix is different.
The first appointment is a paid consultation and a strand test. We pull a strand, run the planned formula, and watch the hair. If it lifts cleanly, we move into the correction. If it does not, we adjust the plan. Most full corrections take two to four sessions across six to twelve weeks. We rest the hair between visits.
We are honest about the timeline. We use bond builders inside every chemical service. We finish with a precision cut to clean up damaged ends. Emily Safran-Wands runs the color program and trains every colorist on the team.
Sulfate-free shampoo. Cool rinses. UV protectant on the way out the door. Fresh water before the pool at the country club. A weekly bond mask. We will write a routine for you the day you leave.
Related services: balayage in Aventura, our Aventura hub page, hand-tied hair extensions.
Why does color correction cost more than regular color?
It is a structured fix that takes more time, more product, and more chair turns than a standard service. The strand test alone takes 30 to 60 minutes. We quote the full plan in writing after the consultation so the price is set before any work starts.
Can you fix box dye?
Most of the time, yes. Box dye sits deeper in the strand and resists lightening. We may use a color remover before lifting. A correction off of years of box dye usually takes two to four sessions over six to twelve weeks.
Will my hair survive the process?
If we run it correctly, yes. Bond builders, conservative chemistry, and recovery time between sessions are how we keep the strand intact. We tell you on day one if your hair is too compromised for the planned correction.
