What's your cancellation policy?

We require 48-hour advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling for most services. For extension appointments, we require 72-hour notice due to specialized preparation time. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. We completely understand that emergencies happen, if you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or text (305) 877-7706 as soon as possible and we'll work with you to find a solution. For regular clients with established relationships, we're flexible with occasional emergencies. Our policy ensures we can maintain our schedule and serve all clients fairly.

Can you fix color disasters from other salons?

Yes! Color correction is one of our specialties. We've successfully rescued hundreds of color emergencies including brassy, orange tones from failed balayage, box-dye disasters, over-processed and damaged hair, uneven color application, unwanted red or warm tones, and color that's too dark or too light. Our correction process begins with a thorough consultation where we assess damage, discuss your desired result, create a realistic plan (sometimes requiring multiple sessions), and provide transparent pricing. We prioritize hair health throughout the correction process, using bond-building treatments and gentle techniques. While corrections take time and investment, we consistently create beautiful results even from challenging situations. Many of our most loyal clients found us after color emergencies at other salons. Do you work with all hair types and textures?

Absolutely! Our team is experienced working with all hair types: straight, wavy, curly, and coily textures; fine, medium, and thick densities; Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Asian, and mixed ethnicities; chemically treated and natural hair; and all ages from children to seniors. We understand that different hair types require different approaches, products, and techniques. Our stylists receive ongoing education about texture-specific cutting, color formulation for diverse hair types, and cultural competency in hair care. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, cash, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For services over $500, we offer flexible payment plans through Afterpay and Klarna, allowing you to split your investment into interest-free installments. This makes premium services like extensions more accessible while maintaining the highest quality standards. We also accept HSA/FSA cards for certain medical services when applicable.

How often should I get my hair cut?

Cut frequency depends on your hair length, style, and growth rate. Here are our general recommendations: Short cuts and pixies every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain shape; Bobs and lobs every 6 to 8 weeks; Layered medium-length hair every 8 to 10 weeks; Long hair maintenance every 10 to 12 weeks; and Bangs trimmed every 3 to 4 weeks (complimentary for regular clients between cuts). If you're growing your hair out, schedule "dusting" appointments every 10 to 12 weeks to remove split ends while maintaining length. Your stylist will provide personalized recommendations based on your specific hair goals and how your hair grows. Regular trims keep hair healthy, maintain shape, and actually help hair grow longer by preventing breakage from split ends traveling up the hair shaft.

Do you offer bridal packages for Miami Shores weddings?

Yes! We specialize in bridal services for weddings throughout Miami Shores, Barry University events, local venues, and private residences. Our bridal packages include complimentary bridal consultation, trial styling session (highly recommended), wedding day styling (in-salon or on-location if needed), bridal party services for bridesmaids and mothers, extension services for volume and length if desired, and coordination with your timeline and venue. We strongly recommend scheduling your trial 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding to perfect your look and ensure proper timing on the actual day. For keratin treatments, we use Keratin Complex and Brazilian Blowout formulas. For styling, we use Redken, Moroccan Oil, and Living Proof products. For take-home care, we recommend salon-quality products that protect your investment. Specifically for Miami Shores clients, we recommend sulfate-free, color-safe shampoos and conditioners; UV-protective leave-in treatments; anti-humidity styling products; and heat protectants for thermal styling. What if I'm not happy with my service?

Client satisfaction is our absolute priority. If you're not completely happy with any service, please let us know immediately - preferably before leaving the salon so we can address concerns right away. If you notice issues after leaving, contact us within 48 hours and we'll schedule a complimentary adjustment appointment. We stand behind our work completely. Whether it's a color that's not quite right, a cut that needs refinement, or any other concern, we'll make it right.
